I found this very sweet dog on Dean street between boerum pland court st at around 1:30am. A very kind woman on a bike happened to be passing by and we sat with her until some officers drove by. They called over someone to bring a leash, and she sat with us for a bit longer getting pets from the officer, but once they tried to get her in the lead, she ran off towards smith. I think she might be hiding somewhere since she didn't seem very eager to leave that block but we're still looking for her. She was extremely docile and friendly - just seemed skittish with sudden movement. I just wanted to post in case anyone happens to recognize her or can provide an update. I really hope she gets home safe On Nextdoor, someone commented this as well: “I saw her this morning around 5 am on Congress Street. She had run from Bergen onto Congress. I called for her and she stopped for a moment and I tried to get close to her with treats but it didn't work and she took off down Congress towards Henry St. I tried to go after her but she was too fast. I hope she is safe - she looks like a sweetheart.”
