Chihuahuas are tiny and need early care. - *Watch for red flags*: “Free” but then asking you to pay for shipping, crates, “vaccination fees” to a mobile money account before you see the dog = common scam. Real adoption fees go _after_ you meet the animal. - *Think long-term*: Chihuahuas live 12-16 years. They’re playful but also fragile, get cold easily, and need training/socializing.
