Shared. Note that TWO days is a long time to a cat, this is longer. If you have not yet done all these things do so ASAP, if you have do them again and go further in your search. Notify Toronto Animal Services and check their website(s) for found cats. Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies, as cats often hide nearby when scared. Check tiny hidden spaces, corners and behind things. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. In case she's still nearby leave some food and water in hidden places near the door she left NOW and check in the morning. Advise local feral cat feeders who may spot her searching for food. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5+ block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make any loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

Shared post - [ ] Please look right away as coyote mating season is over for now but coyotes and foxes do still on occasion check out the subdivision areas. Put out something with your scent or yours feline’s and monitor the sight against predators and other cats. Go out at night with flashlight to see eye reflections and shaking treats. Check under decks, porches, bushes, trees parked cars rap on hood, check wheel wells, furnace/dryer exhausts and vents, window wells. If possible leave a door or window open where your feline can return. Good luck praying, fingers crossed for a safe return soon! Post when found as we all care!🙏 ♥️🤞💔 🐾

She can’t be far. Go outside and look for her at night when it’s quiet. Go door to door and ask your neighbours to check their backyards, garages, sheds. Place posters with her photo and your contact information in case anyone sees her. Stay alert over night in case she finds her way back home but no one is there to let her in…

Hoping you find this puss😕❤️ Go out looking for her/him at night when it’s quiet. Call and listen! for them to call back. Go down laneways etc too - they could be trapped in a garage, injured & hiding, scared… Knock on doors & talk to people on the street - they may know of her/him - someone may have taken them in. Post on All Neighbourhood social media sites. Put up posters - drop as flyers in mailboxes. File a LOST report with Toronto/other Animal Services in case they end up there - continue to check their listings! Continue to call - they won’t necessarily call you. Also, check their ‘deceased animals’ listings 🥲 ⭐️⭐️Consider setting a well-monitored live trap in your yard. He may be too scared to come out but may be able to be trapped.⭐️⭐️ You may catch other critters that will need to be released. Keep looking! Don’t give up on her/him .🥰
