I found this poor baby behind Palm Springs apmts on Forest Hill and Kirk. He is wearing an orang collar. He’s injured unfortunately so I had to call PBC Animal Control. I have the case number if anyone recognizes him. Please share if you do recognize.

They probably dumped him cuz he got injured that's usually what they do to hunting dogs and they get injured cuz they don't want to pay the money to help them fix they just dump them and this looks exactly like what just happened doesn't seem like they're trying to get him even though you guys found the people these people don't care it's all about hunting

If the dog is Camo Animal ID A2223939 Pet Name camo Color brown / merle unsterilized male Size large Weight 70 lbs Age 5 years Found Date 07/15/2026 the medical states : Pet has owner listed in system, plus male owner on collar with 2 phone numbers. So far no luck in contacting them. ACO left VM on one line. Camo was last at ACC 2/2025 redeemed.. here's the lengthy medical.. Vet Cons: approx 5-8yo 61lb male intact dog arrived limping hard on right front leg. P is BCS 3.5/9 TACC scale 3. P had two temps taken: 103.6 then 104.5 approx 10 minutes later with 2 different thermometers. P acts shocky with dilated pupils, decreased responsiveness, MM: pink but Capillary refill time 2-3 seconds. P has grade 2-3 holosystolic heart murmur with resting HR of 140. p has wounds to the left stifle, 2 wounds inside right rear leg, right dorsal carpus, left side of face, left side of chest. P has pressure point hygromas with some ulceration on elbows and rear legs. Limp seems to be from right carpus with possible neurologic injury (too soon to tell with overall condition of the dog)Suspect possible heat exhaustion among other issues. P has otitis externa in left ear. P was given injections of Carprofen, Enrofloxacin, Cerenia. ear flush with Osurnia AU, approx 500ml of subcutaneous fluids with 1ml Vitamin B complex. P was also given Gabapentin. Will continue Carprofen, Enrofloxacin, Gabapentin for 10 total days. continue Cerenia x 2 more days. Monitor temp q2 hours today to determine if it normalizes. Monitor hydration. Feed double BID. Will need to do radiographs of both front legs to compare injured (right) with normal. Dog likely does not need sedation and be careful with any sedation due to shockiness. P has owner listed in system, plus male owner on collar with 2 phone numbers. So far no luck in contacting them. Yes Available for foster? No NECESSARY FOLLOW-UP VET CARE AND TIMEFRAME NEEDED: Follow up care for Heart murmur, lameness, wounds. Care will be needed immediately. Dr. Russ

oh goodness this breaks my heart. dogs are so vulnerable. they depend on us. i hope he is rescued or reunited with people who talked good care of him
