The best tip I see help and work for alot of indoor cats who sneak outside is to leave door ajar so when they do decide to come back they have immediate access back inside. I don't know if it's true but I read in an article that indoor cats will usually Make up to three attempts to get back inside and if they don't find you or a way in they are more likely to venture away From The house looking for another house to get inside of. Also looking for them really late at night or early morning before sun comes up with a flashlight is good way to search. Look for their eyes and look EVERYWHERE SKIP NOTHING. whenever searching don't move to fast and try not to Make any loud startling noises that could spook your cat. Just sitting with someone chatting or talking to someone on the phone can help them hear your location and you. Telling your neighbors in person asap and leaving your number to call if they see your cat is Best way to insure they I'm know about it. That way if they do see your cat they will know they're not used to being outside and the importance of finding them ASAP. Also don't put out litter box or leave out food this can attract unwanted guests while your in kitty is out of there. Instead put out some of your well worn clothes and you can even dilute some of your urine in a spray bottle and spray a couple trails out leading from door outward a little bit to help direct your cat in to the direction of your place. Cats know our smells. And there's a reason cats bury theirs business. Our urine doesn't attract predators if anything it might deter it. Big signs on neon poster board dollar tree has good supplies for signs and getting a live humane trap set up soon is good to do to. And of course reporting to shelter and vets and posting here and nextdoor as well. Hope you find your kitty soon. Take care
