If this is your cat, animal control took it today. For future reference please get your animals microchipped. If you want it otherwise it will be available for adoption in the coming days. Very sweet cat and I would love to see it go to a good home but after having been accused of "stealing" this cat by an angry drunk who's story kept changing (originally he was taking care of it for someone, then he was taking care of it to be nice, then he said if he had it his way he would shoot the cat), I am washing my hands of this situation so please do not contact me about this cat it is out of my hands now.

I looked on Next Door and could not find the cat. There was one who looked a little like this cat, but the coloring was different.

Jill Green thank you I have been looking on Nextdoor and can’t find anything. My son is now being accused of stealing a cat, which he did not. He took it to the vet to be scanned. Whoever owns this cat, all they need to do is click the link and message them .

Update: MONROETON ROAD residents. Supposedly this cat belongs to a “Miss Parrish” who lives on that road and is going to sue whoever has this cat. My son found the cat at his dad’s house, took it to Reidsville vet to get scanned for a microchip. If this is person truly has lost their cat, please go get it then and not threaten a lawsuit when your cat isn’t even chipped .

I think someone was looking for this cat. I believe it was posted on Next Door. I will try to find the post, but you might want to check. It might be another cat but it looked similar.

I checked with the vet the cat is not microchipped and I asked my neighbors and they don't claim this cat. Sadly with how loving and well fed he/she is I believe this was a case of their old let's get rid of them since there was no collar either.
