Found this very sweet dog (golden retriever I think) this evening running across Mercedes St in Benbrook. Another blonde/white golden retriever came running down San Angelo St two minutes after I had gotten this one in my car. Unfortunately, I was unable to catch the second one. I have a feeling they came from the same since both seemed clean, brushed, and well fed. They had probably escaped just before I saw them. They both had collars but unfortunately the one dog I caught only had a rabies tag, no phone number or address. I called the Benbrook Animal Shelter and an officer came to pick it (her maybe?) up. Hopefully it was chipped. If this is your dog, please contact the Benbrook Animal Shelter or Benbrook Police Department. Fingers crossed you’re able to find the other and that they are ok 🤞🤞🤞
