Looks like they escaped from a backyard breeder. They should not be returned to their owner, if it can be avoided, IMO. I hope they are taken in by a rescue group or the shelter, where they will be spayed and neutered before releasing to the “owners”.

The female looks in horrible condition it’s obvious they are breeding her and dumping her. If no microchip please find a rescue. I can help with that.
