Thank you for keeping him safe while looking for his owner. Notify the local shelters that you found him. (This is actually required, by law.) Please don't give him to anyone except his owner or the shelter. Take him to be scanned for a microchip. Try posting on Pawboost, Nextdoor, lostmydoggie, Neighbors, Craigslist, etc. Also check those sites for lost dogs that may be this dog. Put up some flyers up in the area where he was found. Walk him around the neighborhood to see if he knows the way home, or if anyone in the area recognizes him.

If you find a dog PLEASE...... Keep it secure indoors and contact the shelter as soon as possible, to let them know you have the dog… That is the ONE place EVERY owner that cares looks, while many are not on social media or assume the worst. Also any Vet will check the dog for a chip for free. Thanks for helping the dog.

Thank you for helping this fur baby! Here are some guidance steps of additional things to do IF YOU FIND A DOG: • Please contact OC animal shelter in Tustin to file a found report or have them come pick up the dog (THIS IS A MUST). That’s the first place people look for their missing pets and not everyone is on social media. • Take dog to any vet office to scan for a microchip, it’s free. • Post the dog on Pawboost, Ring and local FB lost & found pages. • Hang “Found” signs within the neighborhood, as not everyone is on social media. • Walk the dog around the neighborhood to see if anyone recognizes him/her and if he/she leads you to its home.

Found dog Thank you for helping this sweet pup. Please post on Nextdoor and other local groups if you haven’t. If you can post some flyers in the area, you found her in case her missing owner doesn’t use social media. Also, please have pup scanned for a chip. Hoping pup is reunited with owners soon. 🙏🏼♥️

TY for helping. It might be chipped, are you able to get it scanned at any local vet? Also ask for proof of ownership 🙏
