Message from Finder

Found this guy while I was sitting on a bench in my apmt complex. He walked straight up the hill and directly towards me with nobody or owner with him. When I found him, he was definitely tired and obviously was dehydrated. But after looking at him further, he seems extremely healthy, well fed, and not too dirty. I'm not a professional but based on his condition, he couldn't have been lost for that long. I was able to get him some water while we were outside and eventually brought him inside so he could rest in the A/C. He's very nice and seems somewhat trained just alittle nervous. I posting this in hopes I can reconnect him with his owner. I'm unable to care of him myself due to other pets and due to him being a stray, I'm unable to take him to any of the better facilities. He's seems like a great dog and I would rather him back home where he's comfortable and happy!

Georgia's missing pets Lost Dogs Georgia All Georgia Lost Pets Post to Nextdoor Put up large brightly colored signs in the area. Go online and notify the shelter since family will look there and legally it's required. Require proof of ownership/vet records and photos. Have the dog FULL BODY scanned (chips can migrate from the neck area) at a vets office for a chip, any emergency vet can scan too. PetSmart & Petco Banfield locations have scanners too, If the dog has a current rabies tag call the number and give them the vaccine number. They can trace it back to the dogs family

Thanks for helping him. Free microchip scans can be done at any veterinarian, PetSmart, PetCo and the shelter. I may help get him reunited with his owner.
