I found a deceased grey shorthair cat on 5/19. Vet and I are unsure of the , and we couldn't find a microchip. No collar. The cat was an ideal weight or at least on the thinner side. The cat was on Elm Creek Blvd between 89th Pl N and Rice Lake Elementary School in Maple Grove, MN. It was deceased when I found it, likely hit by a car. Based on when I had last driven past that area, it happened midday, no later than 2:30pm. Paws and Claws Pet hosp Maple Grove is holding the body until 5/26 for pick-up by the owner. After 5/26, Paws and Claws said they will go forward with cremation (though I don't think ashes will be kept). My heart goes out to this baby's owners.
