If at all possible, go to Harris County Animal Shelter and BARC in person and fill out a lost dog report, and walk the kennels while there. Shelters are only required to hold a stray for 3 days before they can be adopted out, so it is important to act now. Check Petharbor every day - the recent adds are usually at the end of the list.

Post flyers all around the neighborhood door to door for those not on social media or do not follow lost and found apps. You may want to put some unwashed clothing with your family's scent on them outside your door along with dog bed or blanket to draw him home.
