My conure also got lost but thank god for doing lots of training he didn’t go far and all you have to do is go outside walk all in your neighborhood calling out to him name and listening for their chirps, they sound nothing like wild birds so you should be able to hear them.

That is one expensive bird to lose. I hope you find him. Rahway is a high traffic town, I hope he’s not clipped and will be able to escape predators if needed. Good luck. If he’s chipped, call all local rescues especially bird rescues. My bird is microchipped.

Jaclynn Peal Fritsche No! Don’t clip their wings!!! Birds are meant to FLY. It is cruel to clip and can cause behavioral issues especially in a golden conure. Birds escape because people don’t close windows, cage doors, or try to free fly them. 1 second of mindlessness and carelessness and your bird is gone and out the window or door.
