He is an Orange cat, with white paws that look like mittens. He is on the chunkier side and has a pouch that swings a bit when he runs. He is skittish to new people but loves treats and responds to the name Ginger. And he is about 8 years old.

Hello Everyone, My name is Ashley and last night Ginger slipped out the front door at around 10:30pm and we have not seen him since. We have cameras that spot him walking outside but our doorbell camera did not catch which way he went. We’ve been looking for him all over our front and backyard and have yet to find him. We live on Burnt Tavern Road by The Lanes Mill Wawa, And I’m asking for your help please. He has been such a big part of my family, and has helped me tremendously. So It breaks my heart not knowing where he is and if he’s ok. If Anyone has any information at all or if you spot him please contact me at.

They usually don’t venture far. It’s probably scared & hiding near by in bushes or an open garage. Most kitties will stay put in their safe hiding spot. ( if they’re not fixed they can wonder further, depends on circumstances) Ask neighbors to check their sheds, decks, garages. They usually venture out at night after 24-48hrs when they start getting hungry. The “witching” hour when they come out is 3am. If you see your pet, don’t try to grab it, it’s still on survival mode and will run. Just sit down maybe with some treats and let your pet come to you. (Remember, never put the litterbox outside. Other cats will mark it & scare your cat away. Just in case, also set some humane traps near by, hide them in the bushes where your pet might hide. Good luck & don’t lose hope. Pray to St Anthony, he hasn’t let me down. 🙏🏻🐾

Most indoor cats that become displaced will hide in silence outside within a very small radius of your home, usually within 3 to 5 houses. They typically won’t meow or answer to your voice because they are so frightened. Ask neighbors for permission to search their yards, under decks, sheds/garages etc. Leave articles of your soiled clothing that you have worn near your front or back door. Sit out in the evening through the night every night and call their name. The usually try to get back in the way they got out. Most of the times they are right near your house for days. Shake a container of their favorite treats. Set up a camera. Put out a trap as soon as possible. DO NOT put a litter box out, that will only attract predators. Praying you find your beautiful kitty.

Keep searching the neighborhood during the day and also at night! Missing cats are usually within 1/4 mile from home! Check local ring cameras, talk to neighbors and businesses, post flyers, call shelters, call police! if you have a garage, open the door slightly and place the food/water just inside the door!Do not give up!
