DESCRIPTION

Apollo is small, fluffy black and white cat. She is eight years old. We are having our windows replaced and she got out of the room they are staying in for now and ran outside before my mom could get her. She is an extremely sweet cat but is skittish with new people. Other than sitting on the porch she is not used to being outside and is likely thin and scared. Please help me bring my baby she means the world to me and my family.

* The most important thing is to start the search IMMEDIATELY. * Keep in mind that cats tend to stay close to home, and are typically found less than a mile away. * Place your cat's litter box outside of your home. The scent will help guide him back. You can also create a trail of sorts using the cat's soiled litter. Start at your house and spiral outwards, leaving a trail of used litter to create a path to lead him home again. * Set food and water out for your cat, near the house's door. * Tell all of your neighbors. Ideally, print flyers with a clear color photo of your cat, the words "LOST CAT," and identifying information. Provide several phone numbers to contact in case of sightings.

Actively be looking for her now if safe and very early morning. when less traffic and less people out. Hopefully she's hiding out close to home. Put your clothes and shoes outside with your scent and their food water ( watch for others)* Open garage some if safe. Look under and behind everything. Cars bushes hedges and on porches and between houses. Alert neighbors. Look. In trees and on roof tops. When looking take their favorite bell toy and they will recognize sound. Put a flyer with her picture and your contact information on EVERY neighbor's door step in your entire neighborhood. Put in a plastic sleeve so that they don't get ruined. They take time but flyers work . Hopefully someone will keep them safe and call you. Make sure she's not stuck in garage or a closet. * Check local shelters every day especially BARC. Look here every day 24petconnect.com Make sure she's not stuck in garage and ask neighbors to look in their garages.

There was a black and white cat trying to enter my backyard two nights ago, (Thursday night) but my cat scared it away, it was dark but I could see his colors, it caught my attention because I haven’t seen a black and white cat near my house. I live in sugar land, enclave at river park.

Go outside at night and check in backyards, bushes, under porches with flashlight. Shake a bag of food. Check your garage and have your neighbors check theirs. Cats normally not out and fixed, will stay within a few houses to either side and across street. Put any bedding, and water bowl on your back porch as well.
