Cook a ham or a roast and open your windows. Walk outside with the roast in a plastic bag calling pets name when you can listen and it’s quiet with no traffic. Tape posters on mailboxes, put out blankets that have your scent, open windows. Knock on all your neighbors doors asking if you can look underneath things, could be hurt. never give up🙏

You need to include nearest cross streets escaped and numbers to call you if there are any potential spottings to go right away in every post.Post to Nextdoor App daily every other so nobody forgets with all the same info.Put on Neighborsring App and North Natomas Neighbors Facebook Group.File lost report with Frontstreet shelter when you live in City of Sac not Sacramento County.. Check their website several times a day they update starting at noon when the public can bring them in.If Microchipped report missing to chip company and double check with them that it actually got registered.Don't make the mistake and assume that's why a lot of them are at the shelters. Even if microchip do you need to make sure you take that chip into the shelters every couple days ask them to look it up the deceased will not be on the website. Does not mean they are they could simply just be out roaming still could take a while if they're scared and hiding.Get Big fluorescent signs out...BE CONSISTENT going to shelters.

If chipped make sure owner contact info is current with chip company. File online lost reports with shelters. Check Craigslist lost and found and pets for sale ads. Keep checking shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers.
