To parents of lost pets: Beware of scammers who will comment with links for "lost" pets services. And they will CALL or MESSAGE you also. Do not fall for their scams. Also, they call using what seems like legit shelter number saying pet needs surgery/help. Hang up and call shelter directly.

Take flyers door-to-door ASAP all through and around your neighborhood. Include vets offices, public places and any businesses that will let you put one up. Mention if he is chipped or wearing an ID tag. Offer a reward as an incentive. A lot of people are not on social media and NEED a flyer so they know to watch for him and call if seen. Do an online search "best ways to find a lost dog" and follow through with the expert advice you will be given in order to increase your chances of finding him. It will require time and effort on your part, but I'm sure he is worth it!
