Search indoors: Look in every nook and cranny, including behind furniture, under dressers, inside closets, and in clothing. Ferrets are experts at hiding in hard-to-reach places, so look again after searching everywhere. You can also try leaving the front door slightly open in case your ferret comes home while you're looking. Search outside: Check your backyard, bushes, and garage. You can also ask neighbors and children if they've seen a ferret or strange animal.
