Maria Felix's Owner Says

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers, support, and for helping us look for our sweet Maria. She came scratching at our front door at 5:40am this morning. She was excited, very thirsty, hungry, and extremely tired. Our baby girl is finally home, and we couldn’t be happier. Seeing her again is the greatest blessing. We are taking her to SAGE Veterinary hosp to make sure she’s okay. She has a large fluid stain running down her right and back side of her body, and it doesn’t sit right with me. My heart is heavy, and I’m praying it’s nothing serious. Please continue to keep Maria in your prayers. Pray that she wasn’t harmed or abused in any way, and that she makes a full and speedy recovery. We are beyond grateful for every share, every message, every prayer, and every person who helped bring our girl back home. 🙏❤️

Charlene Wong yes, she’s chipped and all my info is updated. I went to the Martinez animal shelter and visited local vets. We’re praying to have her home soon. 🙏

Is your girl chipped? If so, please be sure your contact info it's current. If not, please check with CCAS daily as they're very over crowded & don't hold dogs for long. I hope you get your baby girl back soon, safe & sound. Sharing this post.

🚨 LOST DOG – WHAT TO DO IMMEDIATELY TO HELP BRING YOUR DOG HOME 🚨 If your dog is missing, follow these critical steps right away: 🏠 Bring Them Home with Scent and Access • Hang dirty laundry (T-shirts, socks, shoes) high on a fence or branch to allow the wind to carry the scent—use items worn by the person your dog is most bonded with. • Dogs can smell home from miles away—your scent can guide them back. • Leave an access point open such as a cracked garage or front door in case they return. • Sleep near the front door if possible—your presence may help them feel safe enough to come back. • If you have other pets, keep them secured in a separate room. 📣 Post Signs & Notify Everyone • Make signs with a clear photo and your contact info. • Put signs everywhere—on poles, street corners, and especially on doorsteps in the neighborhood. • Ask neighbors to check security cameras (e.g., Ring) for sightings. 🌐 Spread the Word Online • Post on local: • Lost & Found Facebook groups • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighbors app • Include your contact info, dog’s name, and location last seen. 🐶 Microchip & Shelter Alerts • If your dog is microchipped, notify the chip company immediately and mark your pet as lost. • Call ALL nearby animal shelters and rescues, and leave a detailed voicemail if no one answers. Follow up daily
