Hi have you tried contacting https://www.petsreunited.com/ Please keep the cage outside, open with food & water inside. Searching the nearby bushes, green areas and trees early in the morning & evening, while calling out his name might help. Playing parrot sounds on your phone while searching also helps- make sure you play the specific parrot's sounds (eg. for alexandrine's play theirs, for cockateils play theirs). Crinkling a crisp packet, while searching, may also help in getting their attention. If you notice wild birds making unusual noises in the area, please check the spot, it could be because your bird is there. Usually they stay nearby for the first few days - so rigorous searching during this period increases the chances to find them. So, alerting your neighbours, shops & vets in the area with posters/ flyers might help. Some neighbours may not be on social media - please alert them in-person & provide your contact details so they could get back in case they spot your bird. Check the neighbouring gardens especially those with bird feeders. Most birds tend to come out on the 3rd day - out of hunger & tiredness, they might walk on the ground too - please check the nearby areas carefully, every day, for a week or so. Keep posting & checking on every local Facebook pages.
