~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters. lost.petcolove.org/

Distribute flyers to entire neighborhood. Check animal control daily in person- not by phone or online. Leave a flyer with them and humane societies and rescues and vets. Also your mailman. Most cats are found within a 3-5 house radius. Indoor only cats are usually much closer hiding. Best time to look is before dawn and way after dark. Take a flashlight and look up trees and under bushes, under decks, in ditches, in/behind sheds, etc.
