Hi, Zoe! Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Watch your food so other animals are not attracted to it. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors 🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Make sure to get outside right away and begin (continue) the search. All neighbours (circumference) around home 4 + homes on each side, front and back. Ask permission to look on property under decks, shed etc. or ask if they will look. Cats can hide in the smallest nook. The size of a petite closed fist. Flashlight will illuminate eyes in dark nooks. Check garages/sheds and dark spaces. A flashlight instead of overhead lighting in these areas may be more effective. Your sweet cat is most likely not too far. Extend your search to surrounding area for your own peace of mind. Contact your local Animal Services/SPCA/Humane Society and file a “lost report”. Go out around 2AM with smelly food or treats and call softly for him. Have neighbors check sheds and garages. Post lots of signs. Also a good idea to stick notes through your neighbour’s door or mailbox for them to check their properties.

- [ ] The kitty is probably hiding close to home and scared. Call the kitty’s name softly morning noon and night. Late at night. Rattle a treats bag. Put out toys and food and water. Rig up a cat shelter - place articles of clothing and blankets that smell like home in the shelter. Posters work. Make posters and put them up everywhere with your phone number visibly on the poster. Ask for sightings. Don’t give up.
