My cat Noon unfortunately made it out overnight after I found my front door open in the morning with no idea how! I haven’t seen her since and it’s been a week, I’m extremely sad and stressed about her!

Put out unwashed laundry around the home, never the litter! Cats that escape are usually close but scared (or trapped in someone’s shed or garage). Go out very late at night and call softly and calmly. Then listen carefully. Shake treats, tap a can, whatever normally makes them come running to you. Use a flashlight to look into bushes and under patios at night. Many cats come back around the house in the middle of the of the night so cameras help! Also, posters! Taped up as well as hand-delivered to neighbours… nothing beats having more eyes out in the area they escaped from! (And not everyone is on Social Media!!) Good luck and don’t give up hope 🍀 🤞🏻💕 Indoor cats that get out go into “survival mode” so don’t be alarmed if they aren’t acting like themselves at first :)

Put a piece of clothing outdoors in a protected area with your/her scent on it, may this bring her safely back home😽
