He's most likely hiding where lost, near Dennis the Menace Park. Keep searching bushes, underneath things, garbage bins, etc. with a strong flashlight there esp. at night and shaking his treat bag. Read about displaced cats at Missing animal response network>lost cat behavior, and if you opt for a humane trap, Harbor Freight in Salinas has them for $29, sz M. Prayers he's safe and found soon.
