Message from Owner

We’ve been searching for Talia for several hours and can’t find her anywhere. We believe she slipped out into the backyard at some point around 12:30pm and is maybe wandering the Savannah neighborhood. Please approach gently. She is food motivated.

Please post cross streets. Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large. Enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor. Com

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Please go out at night after traffic noise has down, shine flash light under bushes and things cat can hide under and also in trees. Check out any green spots looking back at you. Call cat and wait for a meow back. CRITICAL INCASE CAT IS TRAPPED SOMEWHERE; start from where cat went missing and workout for a radius of 2 miles, knock on doors and ask in person if they will check sheds, garages, window wells, and other outside buildings for cat. ALSO, put cats bed or an old pair of your tennis shoes to help cat know where your porch is. NOT, a litter box that will attract other animals that may keep your cat away. Scared cats usually don't travel far from where they go missing and will wait for YOU to come find them. Also stop by local shelters and rescues everyother day to see if cat has been. turned in. GOOD LUCK

We left our garage open just enough for our cat, who looks like yours. I put one of my not laundered shirts down behind the car, a bowl of water and dry food. Then one night, I saw her in the garage and instantly closed the door. Then the door to the house was propped open and she came back in!!!

🐾 Lost Cat Search Tips • Go out late at night and early in the morning with a flashlight. Call your cat’s name, then pause and listen carefully. If you don’t hear anything, keep moving slowly through the area. • Check hiding spots nearby, including: • Garages • Window wells • Under cars • Bushes and shrubs • Decks and porches • Talk to your neighbors and ask them to check their properties, sheds, and garages. • Place dirty laundry or familiar-smelling items outside your home to help your cat find their way back. • Contact your cat’s microchip company and report them as lost. • Check local animal shelters frequently—visit in person if possible. • Post on: • Facebook lost & found pet groups • PawBoost • Create flyers and posters with a clear photo and your contact info. Hand them out and place them in visible areas. • ⚠️ Do NOT put out a litter box, as it can attract other animals and may discourage your cat from returning.
