She has a few white hairs on her chest, but is all black besides that. She’s shy but the most loving cat and loves cuddles. She’s very chatty and will not leave you alone. She’s 13lbs, spayed and microchipped.

Message from Owner

A hse fire ripped my little family apart this past week. My wife and I are okay and we managed to save my bearded dragon. Two of our girls(kitties), Rezz and Indi, didn’t make it out, but Kona has not been found. We’re desperately holding onto hope that she is alive and well, but we miss her dearly and need her to be found. If anyone has seen a little black cat with a head too small for her chunky body, please please please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you all for your support in this. -Alina

Sharon Smith Dame there’s no way my cat made it all the way to Long Island and she’s chipped.. but that picture is eerily similar.

Go outside at night with a flashlight & call for him. You can also look up cat calling videos on youtube that plays sounds of meowing cats - they say cats will come try to help . That might bring him out. They usually dont go very far and are scared. Will stay in one place. Be sure to look under everything ( porches, sheds , bushes, etc ) ask neighbors to check their sheds/ garages to make sure hes not locked in there on accident.

Go outside at night with a bag of treats and a FLASHLIGHT (an absolute must). Call his name while shaking the bag of treats and shining the flashlight. Most indoor cats are frightened at night and stay stationary. The flashlight will catch his eyes. This isn't necessarily a one time attempt. Consistency is what will remove fear from the cat and what will get him to come to you. Praying you find him soon and safe!
