Jessica Ann I'm so sorry 😞. I hope her dog is found soon. Drones etc were a good choice. They need to keep it up. Because this dog is unfamiliar with the area and due to its breed it will go back to the orginial area it went missing but following the familiar sent of the family. Work with a pet trapper or tracker who works on the ground using tracking dogs and other techniques
