Black terrier mix with lots of white, skinny, with an old brown collar and no tag. He is 19yo, has bad teeth and cannot hear.

Message from Owner

Please help our family get our furry member back. He’s an old man that is usually just an indoor dog that sleeps a lot. He has a sensitive stomach so he eats special food and is skinny because he’s a senior with bad teeth. He is wearing an old brown leather collar but the tag recently fell off.

Check the surrounding shelters every day. Not just the one in your city. Someone may have picked the dog up and not live near you, and dropped the dog at the shelter near them. It’s easy to do, go on their websites and scan the pictures. Also, go in person sometimes they hold dogs in the back that are not in the pictures. And make sure you put posters up because not everyone’s on social media.

General information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house. (EX. Worn clothing / shoes from family member dog lives with). Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media) Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing and to see if it has been picked up.
