Around 5:45 am I went to walk my dog and heard a dog get hit on the main road. I saw the dog laying by the curb opposite side of the Perys Steakhouse on Cypresswood heading east. I was inside the fence of my apmt so I couldn’t get to him I tried calling out to him and he barely moved his head and took a couple breaths. I tried getting him to come to me but he wouldn’t move. I ran all the way round outside the fence to where he was but by the time I got over to him, he was gone. It was still fairly dark out and people were flying by trying not to be late for work and I had my dog with me so I got as close as I could without someone potentionally hitting me. I couldn’t see a collar from my angle. If this happens to be anyone’s dog I’m so very sorry. Just know it was fairly quick and he had some random stranger by his telling them they were a good boy or girl.
