If she was lost near her home immediately place unwashed items of clothing and her bed outside the front door area and hanging from a tree to attract her back home dogs can follow the scent from far away. If lost away and far from home do the same in the same place she was lost and someone should be vigilant. Report to shelter as lost and check in person. If homeless people in the area check with them some like to keep stray dogs. If chipped notify chip company, hang flyers all over. Ask neighbors or comercial business in the area to check surveillance cameras footage perhaps something useful was caught on video. You can also do this in one or more cars to spread the word. Hope pup is found safe.

For Nala’s people: You have likely done this already but if not, please post flyers in the area where Nala went missing (and/or was last sighted) and knock on doors. Not everyone is on social media. You might also ask folks to check their security monitors... Might capture something useful the footage. Also remember to check the Pawboost FOUND and SIGHTINGS listings, also remember to check with local animal shelters. And phone to ask their current protocols. I have heard that visiting in person to review their intake logs is the best way to get accurate information. Also consider posting to Nextdoor. I hope to read a positive update on Nala soon!
