MESSAGE FROM OWNER

We miss Romeo so much and we are very worried about him. He's my daughter's best friend and he's like my furry son. I'm very worried though because he has a very sensitive digestive issues. He can only eat ground turkey, rice, carrots and peas cooked and mixed together with no seasonings at all or he'll have flare up and his colon comes out of his body and I have to put diapers on him and forces him to have uncontrollable bowel movements. So please whoever has him please be careful cuz he's already had one surgery. We miss him so very much. I just really want him to come . Thank you so much!

I hope & pray your fur baby will be back safely! Incase no one has told you these things, here are a few suggestions in finding your dogs/cats & it applies to accidents sites too & no matter how long they’ve been missing: -Please right away get a trap at Tractor Supply or borrow from AC or local rescues, put it by where he/she was lost from or last seen at w/hot boneless KFC for dogs OR mackerel/tuna for cats & your dirty worn socks on top of it! Hopefully, he/she smells that chicken/tuna & your scents. -Go to the Dollar Tree & buy yard stakes & hang more dirty socks all along your property for him to smell them too no matter what direction he/she went. If you live somewhere you can’t put those stakes & socks out, then hang them in front of open windows! For cats, DO NOT PUT THEIR CAT LITTERS OUT! This only brings in predators & if your cats are still nearby, they’ll get them! -A Lost Pet parents said they peed out on the grass so their cats/dogs can follow that scent too! Hey anything to get them home! -Make some flyers & posters & then hand them out to the neighbors while looking & calling out his/her name! Hopefully, people hearing you call out to him/her will help keep an eye out! I saw a lost dog & tried to get it but he ran, then half hr later I saw a car driving real slow & calling out, so I was able to tell them which way the dog ran to & they were able to find the dog & take it home! Put your posters/flyers in a plastic sheets like for school kids reports & taped the opening so it’ll be waterproof! -Ask ALL your neighbors if they have surveillance cameras & to check for your pet from the date your pet went missing, if they don’t have it that far back, have them check from latest one they have, you never know, sometimes they almost made it back home?! -Also ask your neighbors w/ sheds to open it & check to see if your pet is stuck in there?! Have them go in to the farthest spot of the shed & make a lot of noises & bangs to scare of your pet to run outside?! -Give the flyers to pet related businesses like Vets offices, pet salons & etc., that way if someone takes him/her there to scan for chips or grooming, they’ll know you’re looking for him/her! -Post him/her in the Lost & Found sites, not just in the city he/she was lost from but all around the area & the surrounding counties, incase the founder lives in another county & took him/her home then surrender them to their local shelters! 🙄 If you lost your pet from an auto accident, there’s now a site called LOST PETS OF AUTO ACCIDENTS! -Use your rear windshield & side windows as an advertising board, stick his picture on the driver side of the windshield & windows & write Lost & your phone numbers! -Call the local AC & the AC from surrounding areas as well as Rescues to report him/her missing, that way when someone finds him/her, they can direct them to you. Also, give them some of the flyers & put it in their Community board. And be sure to call ACs from surrounding areas because some people are just foolish enough to surrender a found pet from one county to the AC where they reside! -With so many dogs/cats being stolen for bait or to be sold, you probably should go ahead & report them STOLEN to PD! In most states, pets are considered Property, so when someone steals your pet, they’re stealing your property & that an arrest-able charge & they can get Jail time! And look through Craig List & other websites! -Try to visit the ACs yourself in person because sometimes they forget to list animals so they get missed & sits unaccounted! When there, you must insist on seeing ALL the animals in the shelters! The ones in their sick rooms, their back rooms for behavior problems, as evidence for cases, to be euthanized & etc. You’re not there to adopt a dog/cat, they forget that & don’t even think to show you more then the ones for adoption! Also, ask to see their DOA (Death On Arrival) list FROM THE DAY YOUR PET WENT MISSING! If your pet is there, at least you can have some closures & get the body. 💔 -Put flyers in groceries store Community Board also. -At dusks, drive around the area he/she went missing from to see if there’s anyone feeding stray cats?! If you see one, ask if they’ve seen your cat/dog, give them a flyer & ask them to call you if they ever seen any cats/dogs like yours?! They are ultra vigilant animal lovers, they will keep an eye out for your missing babies! -If you just moved to this area, be on the look out at your old home, NO MATTER HOW FAR IT WAS! Ask your old neighbors to be on the look out for your lost pets. Dogs/cats has been known to go back to their old homes when lost & some purposely go back there not realizing that they have a new home! -If you’re still out looking for him/her, you might want to walk around w/ that en/bowl of tuna to help attract him/her to you? If your cat is an outdoor cat, make her an indoor cat only! There are now way too many predators being displaced by all the new constructions & the new constructions are also ing their food supplies like mice & rabbits, so your cats are their only food! Not to mention crazy drivers out there! If your cat has never been inside, put him/her in a bthrm/laundry room & keep him/her there for a couple of weeks, especially if you have other pets inside & let them sniff each other out. Depending on how they’re behaving, if you think they’re ready, keep the door open so they can come out IF they feel like it. Have a cat tree or some furniture by a window where they can watch outside & lots of toys & treats for a few weeks! They’ll adjust indoor in a month or so, I promised! I pray you find your babies, don’t give up & keep doing the things on this list no matter how long it takes!
