*These tips also apply to cats allowed outside, but they could be further away* Put out unwashed laundry around the home, never the litter! Cats that escape/ get into unfamiliar territory are usually close but scared (or trapped in someone’s shed or garage). Go out very late at night and call softly and calmly. Then listen carefully. Shake treats, tap a can, whatever normally makes them come running to you. Use a flashlight to look into bushes and under patios at night. Many cats come back around the house in the middle of the of the night so cameras help! Also, posters! Taped up as well as hand-delivered to neighbours… nothing beats having more eyes out in the area they escaped from! (And not everyone is on Social Media!!) Good luck and don’t give up hope 🍀 🤞🏻💕 Indoor cats that get out go into “survival mode” so don’t be alarmed if they aren’t acting like themselves at first :)

Have read that by putting out some of your worn clothes they might find there way home by scent. Ask neighbours to c(eco all locked garages, sheds, cellars. Make sure that the microchip details are up to date. Maybe try posting on local web pages too.🤞 Sharing
