Found dog wandering the parking lot near Walmart on Arizona Ave and Pecos. Found and picked up at 7:30am on Sunday July 11th. Nervous at first and is now known to be very sweet. Dog is in safe hands until owner is located. He is chipped but the ID so far has not linked to a registered owner. Shepard/malinois mix maybe?

Robert Rios it's actually not an opinion, it's the truth. If you're going to take the time to post it would be more helpful if you used it to point owners in the right direction with that energy. What if you're the only person that comments and they don't know what to do? So they feel encouraged by your nice emojis but they don't find their dog before it's too late. 😥 It's a wasted opportunity to potentially save their pets life and get it back to them. That's all.

Robert Rios hi thanks for putting positive encouragement on all of these posts. But it would really help if you would comment information that points the finders to the neighborhood apps so they can reach the owners quickly and get the dog back. Please consider referring owners to next door and neighbors by ring best quick results. You might be the only person that comments on their post and while your prayers for reunion are positive they also need practical instruction.

🐾 Here are a few things to try if you've found a lost pet in Arizona. The NEIGHBORS by Ring app is amazing! 🎉 It has an impressive success rate, helping reunite about 70% of lost pets with their owners—often within hours. Ring and NEIGHBORS by Ring are two different apps, and you do NOT need a Ring device to use NEIGHBORS. It only takes about 5 minutes to download the app and create a post, making it one of the fastest and most effective ways to help reunite a lost pet with its family.🎉 To quickly reach many people within a three mile radius: ▪️ Post the found pet on NEIGHBORS by Ring. ▪️ Also post on Nextdoor ▪️ Make simple flyers using a piece of paper and a Sharpie. Packing tape works great for hanging them up. ▪️ Place 4–8 flyers at the major intersections closest to where the pet was found. ▪️ Put a box in your front yard and write FOUND DOG or FOUND CAT in big letters so if the owners are driving the neighborhood, hopefully they will see it.🥰 ▪️ Your flyers don't have to be fancy. Just write: FOUND DOG/CAT BREED SIZE COLOR YOUR PHONE NUMBER THAT'S IT! ▪️ Take the pet to any veterinary clinic and have them scanned for a microchip. It's free. ▪️ Don't assume the pet was abandoned. Their family may be desperately searching for them. ❤️ Every post, flyer, and microchip scan increases the chances of a happy reunion. Also use keywords in your post. That way of rescue volunteers are looking for an owner your post will come up.
