Esme Burnett ~ people always have options other than abandonment. That’s honestly cruel to that dog. If the people were evicted, they knew that was coming. They could complete surrender forms to various rescues, OHS, etc abd/or they could have tried to rehome the dog to a screened home. Options. There’s simply not a justification for abandoning an innocent animal and leaving it to fend for itself. 💔🐾😢😡

Christine Dow hi Christine- per Oregon law we are not allowed to rehome him for thirty days, but we are strongly considering rehoming due to our cats being distressed by his presence. Please reach out to me at 714-587-8994 if you would like more information about him and possibly adopting him after the 30 day period!

Denise Smith I feel hesitant to report only because the owners were evicted and likely didn’t have much of a choice in leaving him behind. Thankfully he is safe and cared for at the moment!

If this dog was abandoned, it would be quite helpful and appropriate to report that….. it’s animal neglect and illegal as well as truly unacceptable. Thank you for keeping the dog safe and cared for…. Very kind and most grateful.
