Keeper has been a beloved part of our family for almost 16 years, and she certainly doesn't appear to be that old. She's genuinely one of the sweetest animals I've ever come to know and love, and I/we desperately want her home. She has a younger stepsister kitty who's very very worried about her and has been staring out the front glass door wondering where she is. She has always been an indoor kitty but she snuck out Monday evening while the door wasn't closing on its own. She has no real sense of direction and we think she might be partially deaf. She gets scared and will hide under things like porches, large objects and such, and will become lost easily. She is super sweet but also timid and whether she will come right to you or shy away from you is unpredictable. She does not like to be lifted up and will resist but if you need to transport her, lift her up from under her body with both hands and don't allow her paws to gain leverage on anything. This doesn't hurt her, she just doesn't prefer it.
