Owners will have pictures, paperwork or a vet reference.Y'all can call together to verify ownership.Only owner will have this information again.Ask questions, their answers, ask for their phone number to address and match it to the license.They absolutely have to show proof no proof no dog

Need to be super careful.Bad people and dog fighters will be the first to inquire.They will grab any dog, then get their hands-on just to their dogs can it.They will lie to you and try to trick you.They will have 0 proof of ownership.They also use women and children to do their dirty work. Ask questions and question their answers , ask for their phone number and address and tell them you're gonna match it to their license , that dog would be dead in one minute if it ends up in the wrong hands this is a message from a dog fighter

~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters…
