Local vet office including emergency vet can free scan for a microchip. If someone tries to claim, please ask for proof of ownership (description of the collar pet was found wearing, unique markings, of the pet). Post on Nextdoor app, Ring app, neighborhood Facebook groups, lost pet groups, and check/create a PawBoost alert. Hang FOUND signs around the area in ziplock bags (zip on the bottom) to protect from rain.
