Ok thank you she might be hungry so if you walk around under cars in alleys, you might hear her crying later tonight if I were you, I would take a flashlight and just kind of walk around the neighborhood or check with the local Shelter. Someone might’ve took her there.

Ses Vannara also if you don't find her by tonight, leave her food out tonight inside...she may come out and eat when it is quiet.

Ses Vannara 6 months is possible..they are just developing this sense of awareness of where home is located. I would bet that she hasn't wandered far..using a flashlight look in, under, around, on top of every structure in your near vicinity. Also if yiu aren't 100% sure, she got out...look everywhere inside. They can get stuck behind furniture or appliances. Stuck in drawers, closets, in furniture, attics, bats, any cardboard boxes you have around. The litter outside is controversial, it can attract other outside animals and scare off your kitty. That's why clothing with your scent is recommended. Good luck!

Mb Steven’s Thank for the great advice I really appreciate it. Yes I search near by and left her litter box outside my house and was holding her favorite treats. Do you know if tabby cat at 6 months old can find their way back home or cause she a kitten it may be harder? Am a new cat owner and still learning. Am very worrying about her safety and wish I find her soon. Am praying she near by and safe.

Lost house cats usually do not go far. Look in,under, on top of all structures/trees in the near vicinity. Have a flashlight with you as his/her eyes will reflect in the dark. If you do see him/her, no sudden movements. Have some treats or his/her food with you. Also, if you can leave a door or window slightly open, he/she may come back in their own. Keep an ear to the outside after dark. Many kitties come back after dark and meow to be let back in. Leave a piece of clothing with your scent near the open space that is helpful.Have neighbors look in garages, sheds and other structures. Also if you did not see him/her get out or know for sure she/he did, check every inch of your house, she/he could be trapped or hiding somewhere. Good Luck!!
