Extremely friendly orange cat

This boy wandered into my yard on Monday and has not left. He is extremely skinny and vocal for affection. He has jumped in my lap, and been very friendly. Definitely not scared of people. He is chipped but after multiple attempts to reach out and get in contact with the owner, we believe he may have been dumped. His name on his chip was Carl and is 7 years old from ACCT.

Could you please check to see if his similar markings to my missing cat - a neighbor saw someone take him in October of 2022. We posted in many different locations and searched all the local shelters, but never found him. He was born in spring of 2019.

Faith Romberger the plan come Monday is to take him to the vet and bring him in to foster. I’m linking up with a local rescue to help get the word out about him, but in the meantime he’ll be comfy in our home!

Courtney Malfara, sharing your post. Good job getting the chip check but sorry it led nowhere. I believe pets that came thru ACCT can always be taken back but you may not want to do that during peak season now. Clearly this sweetie had/has an owner and isn’t experienced or safe outside. Hoping you can bring him to safety, become or find the owner, or deeply check out any potential owner via vet references. Also, I’m sending you a private message.
