Many thanks for the heads up on the litter box. We'll give it a try. Also, we have checked shelters and walked the neighborhood checking with people. There have been a number of neighbors who put a bunch of time into this with us as well...so very appreciated.

Look in all shelters or neighbors garages cause they can go in them to hide and get closed up in there. That happen to mine one day and he was in the neighbor's garage for 5 days.

Put her litter box outside. She can smell it from a long way. She very possibly near your house but is scared. Unfortunately she may come home in the middle of the night when it’s quiet outside.
