Rick Micheletti thank you- the sound of this woman crying to me saying she can’t sleep at night and it’s tearing her apart made me want to help find this poor girl. 😢

Julie Clevenger good luck. The feeling of not knowing where your fur baby is is nothing I would wish on anyone. I hope and pray that you find her.

Rick Micheletti thank you so much. I’m actually a Rescue TNR person who is trying to assist the family after three months of her being missing. I think the families at the point where they think someone has picked her up so we’re just hoping someone recognizes her and makes contact 😢

Mb Stevens thank you for the tips, she’s been gone for several months. We’re just hoping that someone picked her up that we see this and contact us. She was running out into a very, very populated and busy area of Philadelphia right near the Liberty Bell building. My fear is that she was hit by a car so I’m leaning on the fact that maybe someone picked her up because she’s friendly.

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Lost house cats usually do not go far. Look in,under, on top of all structures/trees in the near vicinity. Have a flashlight with you as his/her eyes will reflect in the dark. If you do see him/her, no sudden movements. Have some treats or his/her food with you. Also, if you can leave a door or window slightly open, he/she may come back in their own. Keep an ear to the outside after dark. Many kitties come back after dark and meow to be let back in. Leave a piece of clothing with your scent near the open space that is helpful.Have neighbors look in garages, sheds and other structures. Also if you did not see him/her get out or know for sure she/he did, check every inch of your house, she/he could be trapped or hiding somewhere. Good Luck!!
