Hi there! This is Indy Pets: lost & found. Please *🚨*IMMEDIATELY** set out owners dirty bedding / blankets & fabric dog bed) outside your door (or doors of location where they were lost from placed up away from traffic near a tree or building) with their food & water bowls. ( please add smelly meat/high value food on top of their food during daylight) The scent can help redirect them back towards home making it easier to find them💕🐾 (**Lost pets use their sense of smell the most when lost**) Please be sure to post on the NextDoor app & Neighbors RING app . Post on area township/city/county local social media pages as well the petcolove.org PawBoost.com , petfbi.org If not returned within 24 hours of missing, please consider posting flyers in your area for those without social media. 🐾 Please be sure to check with all shelters in your county. Post flyers in your area for people who do not have social media to get real time sightings of your lost pet. 🐾 Please check near area parks, playgrounds, creeks, alleys, and any wooded areas, barns/sheds, under decks, cars, bushes and porches nearby. These are all common places lost dogs travel to when lost Prayers for a safe return home 🐾💕

Please also notify your vet and vets nearby and in the surrounding area in case your pet is brought in for care. Notify any and all shelters and humane societies as well. I have heard it’s helpful to check shelters daily as possible. Please know we are praying!

Look into 24 Pet Watch (formerly the Michelson Foundation) to co-register chip with their national database. If your pet is chipped, no matter what company, you can register the number on the 24 Pet Watch Microchip Registry that allows any chip number to be added to their registry. It is absolutely free with 24 Pet Watch to register any chip number with any company. Be sure to include your contact and vet information so anyone who might find your pet can have that info to get in touch. Once added, it takes maybe 10-15 minutes at most, on the website you can activate a missing alert for them which notifies the system they are missing. I recently found out about this and wanting to share with any and all pet owners. This is a great national registry and so helpful. https://www.24petwatch.com
