Message from Owner

Our Mia has been with us since she was 1 day old, having fostered her mom and siblings the day after birth in a local shelter. We tried to keep her as an inside kitty but she was going crazy to go out in the fenced yard with her dog siblings. She got over the fence and hasn't been seen since.

Celeste Lewis I see so many people letting out there cats. Sad. There’s bobcats and fox where I live and still people let them out. I know accidents happen but I had animals over 50 years. Never ever lost one. If I went out I made sure I had visual

Donna Andruskiewicz maybe, but do you realize that about HALF of the missing cats reported to Cat Finders each year are indoor-only cats who somehow managed to get outside? They either tore the window screen, snuck out with a delivery person, child, or guest to the house, found (or created) a hole in the basement that nobody knew about, ran out when someone was bringing in the groceries and had their hands full, or a number of other scenarios. Some cats escape. They run outside, then they're scared because they have no experience outside and don't really know where the dangers are, so they hide. Whether a missing cat is an indoor-only cat or an outdoor-access cat, if there is a person searching for them it is safe to assume the cat is loved and is given the best possible life given whatever the circumstances of the family are.
