Please post simple signs like this in your yard and neighborhood. (Put in a plastic sleeve/page protector first.). Each day go a bit farther out of your neighborhood. Check the Shelter at least every other day - in person! You know your pet best. Set out a scent station - unwashed items with your and/or your pet’s scent (clothing, bedding, towels, toys, etc). This step especially important if in an unfamiliar area! If you have another dog who is its buddy, walk the area with it on a leash. Post on the NextDoor app which covers your surrounding neighborhoods. When your pet is spotted, do not call or chase him/her. Just sit down on the ground and be very quiet. He/she is scared and any voices can push it away (even familiar voices). https://www.pawboost.com/blog/8-helpful-tips-for-finding-your-lost-dog/
