Notify police, post on Nextdoor and Ring if possible. Notify the chip company if chipped and make sure your contact info is correct. Hang flyers in the area and check 24petconnect. com. Post on Greater St. Louis Lost and Found Paws page if you haven't already

Make sure the microchip information is accurate. Notify your local police on their non-emergency number so they keep a lookout. Hang some of your worn clothing outside along with the dog's bedding to pick up the scent. Post on Nextdoor app, Ring app, neighborhood Facebook groups, lost pet groups, and create a PawBoost alert. Hang LOST signs around the area in ziplock bags (zip on the bottom) to protect from rain. Google professional dog trapping services in the area, if needed. Check with animal control and local rescues online and in person. 24petconnect website has daily intakes. Be careful of scammers contacting you about drone services, pet tracking, or saying your pet is at the vet and money is needed.

Go to all the pounds etc. DO NOT expect them to know if your dog is there from your description. YOU must physically go there every 3-4 days. Also while you are there, fill out a lost form and leave a good photo. Don’t rely on the form, YOU still need to visit every 3-4 days. Walk all kennels, adoptable and stray holds. Also please check Craigslist and anyplace someone would list a dog for sale. Hopefully not stolen. Also talk to everybody. The neighbors, church people, the police, mail carriers, delivery people. Everybody. Hopefully with photo in hand
