Johnnie Taylor yes I totally agree and it's all my fault. She slipped out when because I left the door open for 10 seconds as I was putting things down on the kitchen counter. I closed the door. She waited by the door for 4 hours before walking off never to be seen again. I got to watch the events on my camera 12 second clips, many of them, with her waiting by the door hoping we would open it. To make me look even more like a fool, no collar, no chip. She had always waited and never wandered off until now. So yes, I've been constantly berating myself as a terrible pet owner for 4 days now. She was my pick of the litter, our first set of pups, I was there when she was born. Oh yeah cuz we were poor and couldn't afford to stay or neuter her mom and dad, so again terrible pet owner albeit that accident provided us 16 years of joy and she was spoiled. I won't even sit in my armchair anymore her spot is empty.
