We just moved and Franklin escaped in the Rydele Heights neighborhood. He's very sweet, but skiddish. He's elderly and arthritic. This area is new and unfamiliar to him. I'm so worried.

NEVER put food outside because it WILL attract wild animals and it wouldn't end well for your cat.

You may try putting some of your unwashed clothing outside near your door. Check along the route from your old house to where you're living now. Your cat may be trying to get back home.
