Theo's my lil man, and I'm so devastated to say that there's an active coyote in the Centennial area. Discovered that 2 of our neighbors have also lost cats in the last 4 days alone AND we all found out together this afternoon when said coyote got over the fence and ran through our apartment's yard with a fresh (the catalyst to how I met the neighbors). Please keep your pets and small children safe if you live in the area. Here's my last photo of him:

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Put out some things that smells like their favorite or familiar people. Do not use a litter box as this may be a beacon to predators as much as the kitty. Don't forget to change out the articles of things so the scent is refreshed. Ask your immediate neighbors and surrounding streets by 5 to 10 miles out to keep an eye out in garages, sheds, crawlspaces, porches, basements, and if possible under any places. Kitties can fit into some very small areas
