URGENT: Injured cat found in the West Chester, Ohio area. Severe wound near the face/ear. Needs help ASAP. I gave food and water but cannot bring the cat inside. Please share. 💔 If anyone is able to contact a rescue organization, animal shelter, or help get this cat medical care, please do. The injury looks very painful and possibly infected. I’m worried the cat may not survive without treatment. “I was worried that he might have an owner, so I made this post in case the owner sees it. He was injured and his wound smelled very bad. I couldn’t bring him inside because there is a baby in the hse. Please don’t call me heartless — I was scared because the injury seemed serious and possibly infected. I am on Meadow Ridge Drive now walking around trying to talk to the neighbors to set a trap.

If anyone that lives on meadow ridge drive can please give me an exact address so I can set the trap there. I understand that for security reasons, people have expressed to me that they are fearful of giving me their street address. I am unable to go to this street and put down a trap and a random person's yard due to trespassing issues. I need to speak with the homeowner and get permission first. This issue is preventing me from rescuing this cat, which we are all very concerned about at this point.

Joyce Johnson i am in the process of trying to get a trap. CAC will not take it because it is not in butler county. Animal friends said they will take it, but they are closed now.

Julie Kathryn Animal Friends doesn’t have traps to borrow? I have a friend on the east side I could borrow from/ or from Cinci CARE- but that’s not until tmrw at this point 😢 I can’t believe the local humane society doesn’t have a trap to borrow. 😫

If the cats injured then it needs help asap. Nobody should just not help the cat out cause u can't bring it. Call Cincinnati Animal CARE asap before something worse happens. It needs help before the cats owners come forward.
