Candy's Owner Says

Dear kind people, I want to share some wonderful news—our kitty has been found! ❤️🐾 In the most mysterious way, she came back exactly one week after she went missing, on the very same day of the week. It's a long story, but the most important thing is that she's finally back home with us! From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much for your support, kindness, advice, and prayers. This experience showed me that there are still so many kind and caring people in this world. Wishing you all happiness, health, and many blessings. Thank you for never giving up on us! ❤️

Put something outside with your scent on it anything familiar to your cat. When I lost my cat me and my family went out in shifts day and night it took 5 days but we finally found him after 9:00 pm! I think they hide during the day because they are afraid! 🙏🙏🙏

Saodat Khodjimatova don’t worry it takes a while for them to get in the trap but they will eventually since there so curious, don’t put the cat trap too far from the house since spayed and neutered cats don’t really go far and try to make it comfortable like covering the back with a towel since it has your strongest scent, and don’t worry she will come back try to put the trap in areas u believe she will hide or pass through, make sure to check every 1 hour just to make sure the trap caught anything, meanwhile u have the trap set up u can go walk around with a metal bowl with kibble calling her name showing her that she’s still in her safe area aka ur house or neighborhood, hopefully this helps 🙏🏼❤️❤️ ur cat is probably closer than u think

Alister Salas Oh, thank you so much for the advice! It turned out that one of our neighbors in the community is a volunteer with an animal rescue organization. She helps rescue lost cats and dogs and reached out to me a few days ago. We've been messaging, and she gave us a lot of helpful advice. Yesterday we borrowed a humane trap from her. She was kind enough to lend it to us for free, so we didn't have to buy one, and she showed us how to use it. Last night we put some wet food in the trap because it has a strong smell, and it was one of our cat's favorite foods. We placed the trap in our front yard, right near our house. Unfortunately, nothing was caught, even though we have raccoons and other animals that come through the area. I've also seen a couple of stray cats around our community, but so far none of them have gone into the trap. We're wondering if we should move the trap a little farther away from our house. What do you think?

Get a cat trap from Home Depot my cat went missing on June 29 and just came back yesterday because he fell into the trap( make sure to add smelly food so he can smell it and a blanket or towel to cover the back ) he didn’t wander off far he was literally across the street under a deep porch
